Love & Care
Beautiful things deserve beautiful care.
Our Sustainability Pledge
At Everyday Normal, we’re here for slow style, not fast throwaways. Everything we make is designed to last — with fewer, better things in mind. That’s why we choose materials and partners that care as much as we do. Small batches, mindful production, and no shortcuts.
Because sustainability isn’t a buzzword for us.
Eco-Friendly by Design
Our linen is the real deal: certified European Flax®, grown with zero irrigation, GMO-free, and entirely traceable from seed to finished product. It’s one of the most eco-conscious textiles out there — and we like our fabric like we like our values: clean and uncompromising.
We use Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certified dyes, meaning everything you bring into your home is free from harmful substances and safe for skin (even the smallest hands at the table).
Packaging? Minimal. Plastic? As little as possible. We’re always working to do better, because pretty shouldn’t cost the planet.
Handmade, Handled With Care
No machines spitting out thousands an hour here — just skilled maker, thoughtful design, and beautiful results. Our pieces are made with intention, not mass-produced, which means every item carries a bit of soul.
So treat them with care. These are heirloom-quality linens — here to stick around, not disappear in the wash.
How to Wash Your Linen
Linen is naturally strong and easy to care for — just a few simple rules:
- Cold or warm machine wash - nothing more than 30 degrees but ideally keep it cold (gentle cycle = gold)
- Mild detergent only
- Wash with similar colours
- Line dry only but ideally shake out and dry flat.
- Do not tumble.
- Hard no on the bleach
- Tiny amount of softener (linen hates them)
- Creases are part of the charm — iron if you must, but we love a little texture
- Linen will always seize up after washing but as soon as you start to use it the fibres relax again.
For the Long Haul
Linen’s superpower? It gets softer and dreamier the more you use it. Here’s how to keep it in prime condition:
- Store in a cool, dry spot
- Rotate use for even wear
- Dab spills quickly, don’t rub
- Avoid direct sunlight for long periods
- Use it often — joy belongs in the everyday
Because when you buy well and care thoughtfully, your linens become part of your story — not just your setup.
